Information and communication technology (ICT) is developing very rapidly and dynamically following the needs of its users. Along with this development, the vulnerability of cyber attacks is also increasing. Based on Permendikbudristek Number 8 of 2022 concerning SPBE Kemendikbudristek and Persesjen Kemendikbudristek Number 11 of 2022 concerning the SPBE Information Security Management System of Kemendikbudristek, in managing information security incidents, a cyber incident response team or CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) is needed which is tasked with detecting and handling cyber incidents appropriately by utilizing existing resources effectively.

The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or Cyber ​​Security Incident Response Team of Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, abbreviated as UBHARAJAYA-CSIRT is an institutional CISRT in the Education Sector which was formed to handle and prevent cyber security incidents and also to collaborate with Pusdatin of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and other Universities to improve cyber resilience in the education sector.
